Dumble Surfboards move to New Zealand

"Dumble Surfboards are designed and hand crafted by Simon Dumble who grew up on the beaches of New Zealand, Simon created his first board, a 12' long board, when he was just 16. It has always been a dream of his to combine his fine woodworking skills with his love of surfing. After moving to Alberta, Canada, where the winters are long and the ocean very far away, Simon created his second board. The next summer, he jumped in the car, grabbed the thickest wet suit he could find and took it for a test drive in Tofino, British Columbia. The result of that roady is now Dumble Surfboards."
Simon has now seen the light and moved back to New Zealand to Ohope and started building hollow wooden boards again.
He builds them start to finish himself , so if you are after a nice looking board you should get hold of him :
